Product Information

What materials are used in your clothing?

We use at least 85% certified organic cotton in our clothing with the remainder of materials being from recycled material. These materials are carefully selected for their minimal environmental impact and their superior comfort and quality.

Are your products suitable for people with allergies or sensitive skin?

Yes, our products are crafted with hypoallergenic and non-toxic materials, making them suitable for those with sensitive skin or allergies. We prioritize using natural dyes and organic fibers to minimize the risk of irritation or allergic reactions.

How do I take care of my organic clothing?

We recommend following the care instructions provided on the garment's label. Generally, washing in cold water, using mild detergents, and air-drying are ideal for maintaining the quality and longevity of your organic clothing.

What printing method is used for your prints?

The two main printing techniques are Direct-to-Film(DTF) and Direct-to-Garment(DTG). At The Organic Clothing Club we have chosen to use DTF for its vibrancy and durability.

Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing is a process that involves using specialized inkjet printers to print full-color designs directly onto garments. It works much like your regular desktop printer, but instead of paper, it prints on fabric. DTG printing is hailed for its ability to reproduce intricate designs with incredible detail and a wide color gamut.

Direct-to-Film (DTF) printing, on the other hand, is a process where a design is printed onto a special transfer film, which is then transferred onto the garment using a heat press. DTF printing allows for vibrant colors, and strong opacity, and is particularly effective for printing on dark fabrics. It offers versatility by allowing prints on a wide range of materials, including cotton, polyester, and blends.

In comparison, the sticky powder adhesive that’s used for DTF inks can feel thicker or heavier once it’s been cured. So, it’s not uncommon for DTF t-shirts to have a heavier, plasticky feel on the skin. DTF t-shirts can also appear stiffer across the chest and back with large images. This is less noticeable on thicker garments, such as hoodies/sweatshirts/joggers and when using smaller images, such as logos, on t-shirts. We think the image quality and durability of DTF is far superior to DTG.

What does GSM stand for?

GSM stands for "Gram per Square Meter" (g/m2) and is a unit used to measure the weight of textiles. The higher the GSM, the heavier the fabric.
